Dear Arkati,

I follow you and your works for a long time now, and I have to say, you always amaze me for you outdo yourself every time anew. So, where shall I begin to describe how much I love this? Let's begin with the motif itself. Hannibal Lecter, in all his luscious, gloomy glory drinking a fine glass of wine. The classic, as one could say. The wine glass and it's reflections are flawless. I absolutely adore the shining wine - it reminds me of the source of true blood, maybe from one of his victims? Heh, you never know with Hannibal <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=";) (Wink)"/> Also the way the liquid enlightens one half of his face, reflecting itself in his burgundy eyes gives me a little shiver, to be true. I automatically think of the devil, enjoying his drink after some gruesome work and an elegant dinner. I'm n love with how you drew his hand, for I think hands are very, very difficult to draw, but yours is awesome.

Then, we go forward (or sideways, nevermind, all sides here are 'chocolate ones' ^^) and I compliment you for his suit and the tie. Oh, his ties are always extravagant and you gave him a perfect one here.

Then, last but not least, his face and his hair. He looks so terrifying / realistic to me, I'd love to strech my hand out and stroke his cheek with my fingertips (though I don't think I'd have these fingers any longer soon as I'd do this).

His expression has something alluring for me. Thoughful and a bit sad, yet yearning into the distance of a shadowed past... there's so much macabre emotion in this piece. As Taylor Swift sang - A nightmare, dressed like a daydream.

So, all in all - this is the first critic I've ever wrote and I'm glad I can give it to you. You deserve it and many more critics/comments. This piece is a lovely and beautiful work and I can't wait for your next!

Have a nice day

Med~
